Chapter 187: Hogwarts Express
Harry, Ron, Vernon and Hermione walked along the corridor, looking for empty carriages, but all the carriages were full except the last carriage.
There was only one person in this carriage, and he was sitting by the window, sleeping soundly. Harry, Ron, Fanlin and Hermione stopped on the threshold.
The Hogwarts Express is usually used by students, who have never seen an adult here, except for the witch pushing the food trolley for them.
The stranger wore an extremely worn wizard's robe, patched in several places. He looked sickly and exhausted. He still looked young, but his light brown hair was already streaked with spontaneity.
"Who do you think he is?" Ron asked sharply. They sat down, closed the door, and sat as far away from the window as possible. "
"Professor R.J. Lupin," Hermione whispered immediately.
"How did you know?"
"Isn't it written on his suitcase?" Hermione replied, pointing to the luggage rack above the man's head. There was a small, shabby suitcase, tied up with many ropes and neatly knotted. The words "Professor R.J. Lupine" were printed on one corner of the box, the letters peeling off.
"I wonder what he teaches?" Ron said, frowning at Professor Lupine's lifeless profile.
"Apparently," Fanlin said, "there's only one empty seat, right? Defense Against the Dark Arts."
"Well... I hope he can be qualified for this job, at least better than Gilderoy and Rocky..." Hermione said with some annoyance, "Damn, I learned basically nothing from the two of them. Especially Mr. Gilderoy Lockhart, where has he been?"
"It seems to be the United States..." Fan Lin said, "Dobby helped me keep an eye on it. Anyway, Gilderoy can't stay in the UK anymore."
"Indeed!" Harry nodded. Gilderoy's experiences were all caused by them.
"By the way, Harry..." Ron said, "What exactly do you want to tell us?"
"That's it..." Harry said quietly as he motioned for several people to come over.
"Mr. Weasley just expressed his intention to me. Sirius escaped from prison for me..."
"For you?" Hermione exclaimed, "What does he want from you?"
"Harry, you also noticed..." Fan Lin frowned, "Harry has been under the surveillance of the Ministry of Magic since he escaped from the Dursleys. This has been the case since the agreement between Fudge and Harry. It can be seen.”
"Promise? Cornelius Fudge? Harry, how come you have an agreement with the Minister of Magic?"
"Hermione, the Ministry of Magic must have received the news after Harry left the Dursleys. They can't catch Sirius, but they can still easily grasp Harry's movements. After all, each of our wands is marked with magic. "Fan Lin is a little dissatisfied. He hates this. He feels that his secret will be leaked, so he has been looking for ways to remove his mark through his grandmother.
"Okay..." Hermione said somewhat seriously, "Sirius Black escaped to chase you... Oh, Harry... you must be more careful, be very careful. Don't ask for trouble, Harry..."
"I didn't ask for trouble," Harry said angrily. "Trouble usually comes to me."
"How stupid can Harry be to find a madman who wants to kill him?" Ron said tremblingly.
With the exception of Van Lin, they took the news much more seriously than Khalili expected. Both Ron and Hermione seemed more afraid of Black than he was.
"No one knows how he escaped from Azkaban," Ron said awkwardly. "No one has ever done it before. And he's a top criminal."
"But they'll catch him, won't they?" Hermione said sincerely. "I mean. They've sent all the Muggles to look for him..."
"I'm sorry, Hermione..." Fan Lin shook his head, "I don't think the Ministry of Magic has such ability, otherwise Sirius would not have escaped from Azkaban and hunted down some remnants after the fall of Voldemort. The losing party will spend a lot of time.”
"Anyway..." Hermione seemed a little scared, "No matter what, the Ministry of Magic is still useful..."
"Compared with this, I think you should trust Dumbledore's protection of Hogwarts more..." Harry said, he was not optimistic about the Ministry of Magic at all, although Fudge was always very kind to him.
"Where's the noise coming from?" Ron said suddenly. There was a faint, thin whistle from somewhere. They searched around the carriage.
"It came from your suitcase, Harry," said Ron, standing up and reaching for the suitcase from the luggage rack. After a while, he took the pocket speculum out of Harry's robes. It spun quickly in Ron's palm and was brilliant.
"Is this a looking glass?" Hermione asked with interest. I stood up to take a closer look. "Yeah... you know, it's very cheap," said Ron. "When I tied it to Errol's leg to give it to Harry, he went crazy."
"Were you doing something at that time?" Hermione asked sharply. "No! Well... I shouldn't use the Errol. You know it's not very capable of long journeys... But how can I give Harry a gift if I don't?"
"Put it back in the box," said Harry. Because the thing screamed so loudly, "Otherwise it's time to wake him up." He nodded in Professor Lupin's direction. Ron stuffed it into an old pair of socks that Uncle Vernon had given Harry, which muffled its sound, and then closed the lid of the trunk. "We could check it out at Hogwarts," said Ron, sitting down again. "Devis and Bans sell this stuff, Fred and George told me."
"Do you know much about Hogsmeade?" Hermione asked keenly. "I read that this is the only place in Britain where there are no Muggles..."
"Yeah, I guess so," said Ron nonchalantly, "but that's not why I want to go. I just want to go to Honeydukes!"
"What is that?" Hermione asked.
"It's a candy store," Ron said, a dreamy look on his face. "There's everything there...the little pepper urchin...it makes your mouth smoke...and the oily chocolate balls, full of strawberry custard and regular custard, and really wonderful sugar." Quill, you suck on it in class and it looks like you're thinking about what to write next..."
"Please Ron, do you only think of these?" Fan Lin was speechless, although these were also very attractive to him. (To be continued)
