Written Before Listing

I feel uneasy. Basically, every author will be worried about gains and losses when opening a new book. They can't sleep well, can't eat well, and keep refreshing the background to check the number of collections, the number of recommended votes and monthly votes, the number of investments, and the chapter descriptions... This symptom is called new book syndrome in the circle, especially before it is put on the shelves, the symptoms are extremely obvious.

Before opening a new book, many people told me that traditional fantasy has no market now, and there is basically no place for traditional fantasy on the list, but I think that someone has to write it, and there are still many readers who like to read traditional fantasy, and this is exactly what I am good at.

When I opened a new book, I was also reading other people's new books. I saw that some authors were scolded to autism and chose eunuchs. I saw that some authors castrated themselves because of poor performance on the shelves... I felt sad.

Those authors are all old authors, and one of them is one I personally admire very much. He wrote a traditional fantasy with very good performance and classics, but ideals can't stand the blow of reality after all.

But don't worry, Ben Mo's psychological endurance is still good, and he won't be upset because of being scolded or poor performance.

When writing a book, there will definitely be people who don't like it and will scold it. Being scolded will also make you feel depressed, but there are still many people who like it, and there are also people who read it while scolding (probably because they are disappointed).

I just went to look at a single chapter published after "Martial Peak" was put on the shelves. The performance of "Martial Peak" was actually very bad. It was so bad that it could only barely maintain a basic standard of food and clothing. In that single chapter, the young Xiao Mo was ruthless and swore: Even if Wu Lian failed again, he would never stop until he wrote 2 million words! (2 million words was a lot in that era)

The young Xiao Mo was really naive... not only 2 million words, but almost 20 million.

So don't worry that Ben Mo will give up because of poor performance. I have survived the test of "Martial Peak". Even if the performance of this book is not good, it can't be worse than "Martial Peak".
