Chapter 73: New Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor
Not long after Malfoy left, there was another knock on the door. When Rolf opened the door, there was a middle-aged man standing at the door.
"Rolf, hello!" The man smiled and put his arm on the boy's shoulder and said, "Long time no see."
Rolf looked at the other person and after a careful identification, he confirmed that the visitor was Sirius.
Two months ago, Sirius had just been released from Azkaban. He looked thin and haggard, with messy, black and long hair on his face.
After a summer of recuperation, his hair is now short, clean and neat, and his cheeks are plump. Although his face is still very vicissitudes, it has become much younger.
"Hello, Sirius, please come in." Rolf smiled.
Sirius walked into the carriage and looked at Rolf with concern in his eyes.
"I heard that Greyback attacked you. You weren't bitten by that beast, were you?"
"No." Rolf shook his head and said calmly: "It's just a werewolf. It can't hurt me."
Sirius then let go of Rolf's arm. He said happily:
"That's good. I was worried... I wanted to see you several times, but was rejected by the Ministry of Magic... They didn't want to reveal your location."
Rolf raised his eyebrows and said: "Minister Fudge didn't tell me about this."
"Fudge was probably afraid that I would leak the news. Peter's escape was enough. It gave him a headache. "
Rolf nodded slightly, and he turned his head and said, "Sirius, let me introduce you."
"This is Shirley Swinton... She is Hermione Granger... and Neville Longbottom, both of them are my friends."
"Hello everyone." Sirius nodded to everyone, and his gray eyes full of smiles looked at Shirley and Hermione and said:
"I heard from Rolf that when Peter was caught, the two ladies were also at the scene. Thank you very much for your bravery..."
Shirley and Hermione both laughed and greeted.
Sirius looked at the timid Neville again. He stared at him for a moment and sighed softly:
"Neville, hello... You look like your father, but he is much thinner than you."
"Really?" Neville was a little excited. He clenched his fists and said with desire and expectation: "Mr. Black, are you familiar with my father?"
"Not only your father, but also your mother, I know them all... We were classmates in Gryffindor College, and after graduation, we joined the Order of the Phoenix together."
Sirius fell into memories and said:
"Your father is honest and gentle, and has excellent talents. Your mother speaks softly, likes to laugh, and has a very good temper.
James and I liked to play pranks at that time, and many people were annoyed when they saw us...but your parents, not only were not angry, but also had some smiles on their faces."
Sirius said this and suddenly laughed, "Speaking of which, when Alice married your father, many of her peers were very depressed."
Neville hummed, turned his head gently, and wiped his face with his hands.
"My grandmother rarely mentioned my parents' school days, only saying that they were good people... heroes."
"Of course they are heroes." Sirius put his arm on Neville's shoulders, and he looked at the boy with sad and bitter eyes.
"Neville, if you want to know about your parents in the future, you can come to me."
Neville nodded vigorously.
Sirius sat on the chair and asked, "Dragon Malfoy just came?"
"Yes." Rolf repeated the transaction process.
"Well done... that kid should be punished." Sirius showed his disgust for his nephew without hiding it.
"He is exactly like his father, both are so annoying, typical Slytherin."
"Forget it." Sirius looked at Rolf and said, "I went to Albania this summer."
"To find Peter Pettigrew?" Rolf asked softly.
"Yes, Dumbledore said that guy would go there to find his master..." Sirius lowered his voice: "Voldemort!"
Hearing this name, Neville's face was full of fear.
"Are you going alone?" Rolf asked curiously.
"I found Fudge and wanted him to assign some Aurors to me." Sirius shook his head and said:
"He promised well, but every time he told me that there were not enough people and asked me to wait."
"How could Minister Fudge do this?" Hermione said angrily.
"When Fudge was the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Magical Disasters, he was famous for his procrastination, hesitation, and perfunctory work. Now that he has become the Minister, he is still the same." Sirius sneered, "When it comes to doing nothing, our brave Minister is second to none." "So, in the end, only Remus and I went to Albania." Sirius shrugged. Rolf and Shirley looked at each other. They were both familiar with Lupin. Last summer, they learned a lot of magic from him. "Lupin left Romania?" Rolf asked. "Yes, after he saw the news about me and Peter, he immediately resigned from the Romanian Fire Dragon Sanctuary and returned home." Sirius looked at the boy and said seriously, "Rolf, Remus asked me to apologize to you on his behalf. You found him a job, but he suddenly resigned." "What's the matter? It's not a big deal." Rolf smiled and said nonchalantly, "Did you find anything in Albania?"
"We met Peter in a hotel." Sirius said with a gloomy face and clenched his fists:
"We almost caught him, but he was rescued by a mysterious wizard."
Luofu thought for a while and asked, "Are you not tall, but you are wearing a hood and can't see your face?"
"Have you seen him?" Sirius asked excitedly.
"Yes." Rolf nodded and said solemnly: "He was there the night Gibbon and Greyback attacked.
The man claimed that he had rescued Peter and that he had put a reward on me. "
Sirius frowned.
"Do you have any clues?" Rove asked: "Who had a better relationship with Peter when they were students?"
Sirius thought about it carefully and said decisively:
"When he was in school, except for a few of us, Peter had no other friends. He was like a tail, following us all day long."
After thinking for a moment, he puzzled and said, "I don't really believe it was the Death Eaters who saved him."
"Why do you say that?"
"Those Death Eaters hate Peter as much as I do." Sirius explained:
"Based on Peter's intelligence, Voldemort went to James' house, but eventually lost his grip. The Death Eaters all thought Peter was a liar and wanted to get an explanation from him.
When I was in Azkaban, I heard that many Death Eaters wanted to kill him and avenge Voldemort. "
Not Peter's friend, nor the Death Eater who rescued Peter... So who is the mysterious wizard?
Luofu subconsciously stretched out a finger, rubbed his brow, and murmured to himself:
"It would be great if we could catch Gibbon. He accepted the reward and must be connected with the mysterious wizard."
"You can let Remus go," Sirius suggested, "He is very familiar with Knockturn Alley and has lived there for many years."
"Lupin?" The young man was stunned. "Isn't he going to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts this year? How can he have time to find Gibbon?"
"Who told you Remus was a Professor of Dark Arts?"
Sirius raised his thin black eyebrows and announced proudly:
"I am your new dark arts teacher this year...Professor Black!"
