I Was Expelled From Hogwarts?

Chapter 57: Earthquake?

Rolf and Shirley stood on the balcony, admiring the summer starry sky for a long time, and finally went back to their rooms to sleep.

Lying on the soft big bed, Shirley couldn't fall asleep again. As soon as she closed her eyes, Rolf's figure always flashed in her mind, and she couldn't help wanting to go to his room and chat with him.

Of course, she couldn't wake Rolf up, so she could only lie on the bed and toss and turn. In the second half of the night, she fell asleep in a daze.

So, when Shirley got up the next morning, she inevitably became listless.

Rolf walked out of the room and happened to meet the girl who had just washed up. Seeing that she was sleepy, he joked:

"I told you that the old house was haunted. I asked you to squeeze with me last night, but you didn't listen. Now you believe it, right?"

Shirley felt a little wronged, thinking that she was still thinking about someone, but it was impossible to say such shameful words, so she had to remain silent.

Rolf returned to the room and came out quickly, handing over a golden apple, saying with a smile: "Eat it quickly."

Shirley hesitated and said: "Wouldn't it be too wasteful?"

Golden apples can fill the user's body with energy, eliminate fatigue and sleepiness, and have no side effects... It is better than any invigorating potion.

But isn't it too extravagant to eat a golden apple just because you didn't sleep well for one night?

Rolf stuffed the apple into Shirley's hand, tapped her forehead with his finger, and said with a smile:

"What about the golden apples on that tree? It would be a waste if you don't eat them. Besides, this is Ravenclaw's tree, not ours. It's a waste if you don't eat them... Be obedient!"

Shirley nodded obediently, picked up the golden apple, and took a small bite. After eating only a small half, she felt energetic and the girl refused to eat anymore.

In the end, the two of them took a bite each and digested the remaining half of the golden apple.

After eating the apple, they were not hungry for a while.

Rolf asked Tina not to prepare their breakfast, and took Shirley out to stroll around the village and get to know the neighbors.

Soon, they ran into Elphias Doge, whom they met yesterday. He was arguing with an old witch at the intersection with his neck stiff.

Shirley looked at the old witch. She had wrinkles all over her face, a hooked nose, red eye circles, and a pink feather hat. She looked like a bad-tempered flamingo.

From the scene, it can be seen that she is not a good-tempered witch. After all, she can make the kind Elphias Doge's neck red... It is obvious.

"This is Muriel who I told you about yesterday." Rolf whispered.

Shirley understood that this was the bad-tempered, sarcastic, and senior... Muriel.

Muriel also noticed Rolf, who had not seen him for a long time, and the beautiful girl next to him.

"Grandma Muriel, long time no see." Rolf greeted with a smile.

"Oh, Rolf, you're back." Muriel said sharply, "Who is this red-haired girl?"

"The classmate Rolf brought back." Doggie said.

"Just a classmate?" Muriel snorted, obviously not believing this statement, and she asked in confusion:

"This red-haired girl can't be the daughter of the Wesley family, could it be Ginny?"

"No." Muriel glared and said, "I saw that girl last Christmas. She has nasty freckles on her face. Her skin is not as good as this girl's, and she is not as beautiful as her..."

"Did Arthur and Molly secretly give birth to another daughter? This is also normal. The Wesleys reproduce as fast as goblins."

"Grandma Muriel, her name is Shirley Swinton, but she is a child of the Wesleys." Rolf corrected.

"Swinton?" Muriel asked in confusion, "Which family's surname is this? Why haven't I heard of it?"

"Shirley grew up in a Muggle family." Rolf said.

"Oh, a Muggle family." Muriel stopped talking.

Rolf naturally understood her contempt, so he said calmly:

"Shirley, get a chair for Grandma Muriel. She is already 104 years old. Standing for a long time is not good for her health."

Shirley nodded, waved her wand, and aimed at two small stones on the roadside. The stones immediately turned into two mahogany armchairs with swan-necked legs.

The chairs were also decorated with luxurious Utrecht yellow rose silk velvet.

Doggie clapped his hands and praised:

"What a beautiful Transfiguration, child. I dare say that Albus at your age is not as good as your Transfiguration!"

Muriel looked at Shirley in shock. She stared for more than ten seconds, and she was complaining in her heart. Not only did she look like a disaster to the country, but she also had such an excellent talent for Transfiguration... What a sin!

Shirley smiled modestly, "Grandpa Elphias, I'm still far from that."

"Shirley, you're too modest." Doggie sat on the chair, looked at Muriel again, and asked, "What do you think of this Transfiguration?"

He teased, "Oh, I remember that you didn't even get the O.W.Ls certificate for Transfiguration back then. Look at my memory, I'm really old."

Muriel glared at Doggie fiercely, then plopped down on the chair, as if to crush him.

"What were you arguing about just now?" Rove asked.

"We were talking about the Daily Prophet." Muriel smiled maliciously and said, "You're amazing now."

Rove wondered, "What's wrong?"

"Last year, you were reported all year. I thought that with the International Confederation of Wizards Convention and the Quidditch World Cup this summer, the news about you would be quiet for a while."

"I didn't expect that you saved another shipload of wizards, and Rita wrote an article about you!"

Rolf narrowed his eyes and sneered, "Did she say bad things about me?"

Not long ago in the bathroom of the German Ministry of Magic, he was very rude to Rita. She might indeed write an article to scold him.

"No, instead, she praised you... elegant and easy-going, with outstanding talent." Muriel sneered:

"That's amazing. That woman never says good things about others, just like in the report on the International Confederation of Wizards Conference, she scolded Albus... a dictatorial and rigid old lunatic!"

"I said." Doggie interrupted rudely and angrily: "The article of that woman Skeeter can't be believed. She is just an old crow who likes to make trouble out of nothing."

Doggie's face turned red like a carrot again. Obviously... he was arguing with Muriel about this article that insulted Dumbledore.

"Look at you, you're anxious again... Elphias," Aunt Muriel giggled, "I know you worship Dumbledore, you always think of him as a saint!"

"But before Albus became a saint, there were some very funny rumors!"

"Muriel!" Doggie exclaimed, "What nonsense are you talking about in front of the children."

Muriel was obviously deliberately tempting Rolf to ask about Dumbledore's "funny rumors".

But Rolf knew that she wanted to talk about Dumbledore's sister Ariana, so he said coldly:

"Muriel, although you are an elder, I still have to remind you that you should not judge others without knowing their faults."

Muriel was choked immediately. She wanted to say something else, but the chair shook violently and almost threw her to the ground.

Luo Fu felt the ground shaking, watched the houses swaying in the distance, and the streets were covered in dust, wondering:

"Earthquake?"
