Chapter 299 Voldemort: Mrs. Dursley, You Don't Want Your Husband
Chapter 739 Voldemort: Mrs. Dursley, you don't want your husband to get hurt, do you?
Walking in the deep and dark underground cave, a long marble road stretched out in front of the Dursleys.
This road seemed to lead endlessly into the darkness in the distance. There was a wishing candle every few meters, and the candlelight shone dimly on the white marble floor.
With the flickering orange flames, the Dursleys could see a large number of stone tombs on both sides of the road.
On each stone tomb, there was a life-size statue of a wizard.
Those statues held wands, with their hands crossed on their chests, lying flat on the stone pavilion, sleeping in death, as if floating from the tomb, clinging to the coffin lid, and as if trying to break free from the shackles of death.
The candlelight continued to move forward, and the side of the person seemed to stand up and cast on the wall, and the shadow became longer and longer, like the shadow cast by a dancing skeleton, and then gradually disappeared.
Looking at the graves, Penny felt the hair on her neck stand up in fear. She swallowed and asked:
"Where is this? Aren't you taking us to Hogwarts?"
The woman leading the way did not answer. Vernon saw this and reached out to grab her shoulder and shouted:
"Hey, Penny is asking you a question..."
But before his hand touched the woman's shoulder, it was as if it was burned by fire. Vernon screamed in pain and immediately retracted it.
The woman turned around and stared at Vernon with murderous eyes. She was about to teach this dirty Muggle a lesson when a cold voice came from not far away.
"Stop, Bella... Don't be rude to our guests."
"Yes, master." Bella said respectfully immediately.
"Guests from afar." The voice continued, "This is not Hogwarts, but the Black family's cemetery. Welcome."
"The cemetery?" Petunia said in a trembling voice, "Aren't you going to take us to Hogwarts to watch the Triwizard Tournament? Why are we in the cemetery? Where is Harry? I want to see him!"
"Don't be nervous." The man whispered in a calm and hoarse voice, "You were called here for a reason."
"Who are you?" Vernon shouted, "Why did you trick us here?"
"Who am I?" The man laughed hissingly, "Bella, pick me up so that our guests can see who I am."
"Yes, Master."
Bella left the road and walked towards the stone tomb. The Dursleys saw that there was a group of people standing in the dark.
They were all wearing black robes and hoods, standing in a circle.
A moment later, the woman named Bella picked up a package from the crowd and walked slowly over.
As they got closer, the Dursleys saw clearly what was in the package:
It was a creature that looked like a curled-up baby, with no hair, and scales on his body, and dark, red skin, like injured tender flesh.
His arms and legs were thin and soft, and his face - no living child had such a face - was a flat snake face with a pair of sparkling red eyes.
Vernon was pale and muttered something in a low voice. Dudley screamed and ran to hide behind Petunia, who was so scared that she squatted behind Vernon.
Voldemort raised his thin arms and hugged Bella's neck. He stared at Petunia and said:
"Let me introduce you to you. This is Lily Evans's sister - Harry Potter's aunt - Petunia Evans."
The Death Eaters in the circle became agitated when they heard the names of Lily and Harry Potter.
Voldemort narrowed his red eyes, stared at Petunia, and said hoarsely:
"You don't look like your sister at all, but those green eyes are very similar... They are both so ugly and disgusting!"
"Master, I'll dig it out for you." Bella excitedly stuck out her tongue and licked her thick lips.
"No, she is still very useful to me." Voldemort said.
Bella pouted her lips in disappointment.
Petunia heard Lily's name and suddenly raised her head and stared at the ugly baby. She was still shaking and swallowed hard:
"You... know my sister?"
Voldemort smiled. Although he didn't see how his lips opened, he could hear a faint smile seeping from his throat, which made people creepy.
"How could I not recognize her?"
"She had managed to escape from me three times, but she was not so lucky the fourth time.
That night was Halloween Eve. She and her husband James Potter were trapped in the room by me. When I appeared, they both showed expressions of surprise and horror."
"I killed them both with Avada Kedavra, just as easy as killing a cat or a dog."
Voldemort laughed hissingly, but his eyes suddenly turned cold and said:
"Of course, I also fell into her trap - the woman used her death to leave a talisman for her son - when I killed Harry Potter, Avada Kedavra bounced back to me."
Voldemort smiled horribly, and his red eyes became empty and cold.
"Because of your sister, I was stripped of my body, worse than a ghost, worse than the most humble wandering soul... I still don't know what I am."
"But fortunately, I am still alive. At least one or two of the magic I experimented with worked, so that I did not die even when I encountered the most deadly attacks..."
It was the first time that Petunia heard about her sister's death. She seemed to faint and fell to the ground. She was stunned for a long time. Suddenly, she screamed at Voldemort in a shrill voice like crazy:
"You murderer... You killed my sister... You killed her!"
Petunia wanted to pounce on Voldemort, but Vernon quickly grabbed her arm and dragged her back.
Vernon held the struggling Petunia tightly in his arms. Petunia sobbed, "Vernon, he killed Lily--"
"I know... I know..." Vernon hugged his wife, his beetle-like eyes narrowed, staring at the group of hooded people vigilantly, and said in a rough voice:
"Hey, you have a grudge against Lily and her husband, but we haven't been in contact with them for more than ten years, and our relationship is very bad.
You two's hatred has nothing to do with us... Let us go back, we won't seek revenge on you."
Vernon tried his best to make his voice calm, he lied:
"But we have been missing for too long, it's not certain-we have an appointment with our neighbor Mrs. Figg for dinner tonight-she will definitely call the police when she sees that we are not there, you don't want to cause trouble, right?"
Before he finished speaking, he suddenly fell to the ground.
Penny bent down in horror and found that Vernon was trembling all over, his face was ashen, and his mouth was tightly closed.
"What did you do to my father?" Dudley roared.
But the next second, his mouth seemed to be sewn shut, and he couldn't open it. He fell to the ground, curled up, and sobbed.
"What did you do to them?" Petunia let out a horrified cry.
"As long as you agree to my request, nothing will happen to them." Voldemort said softly, his red eyes shining in the dark.
"Mrs. Dursley, you don't want your husband and son to die here, do you?"
"You...what do you want me to do?" Petunia asked in horror.
"I want you..." Voldemort licked his lips and said hoarsely:
"Voluntarily give me...your body."
