A Day at Hogwarts

Chapter 442 What to Study?

On the first weekend of this school year, students came to the cafeteria, talking and laughing, preparing to have lunch.

"Where's Charles?" Hermione looked around and found that there was one less person at the long table.

This week, she only saw Charles during class and meals.

Seamus was picking up fried eggs for himself, and after hearing it, he said, "Charles went to St. Mungo's Hospital last night. I heard that the first batch of werewolf antidote arrived. He took the medicine for the first time today."

Hermione then remembered that Charles had a title of Director of the Werewolf Support Service Office in the Ministry of Magic.

Charles just went through the motions at St. Mungo's Hospital, took a photo with Fudge and shook hands with a werewolf, and said a few polite words to the reporter. The rest of the things were done by his subordinates and professionals.

Time came to the second weekend uneventfully.

Nothing happened this week, except that Professor McGonagall had another quarrel with Moody because Moody made the students experience the Imperius Curse.

Among the fourth-year Gryffindor students, Harry was barely out of control. Moody's wand poked Charles's forehead, but this guy didn't react at all.

This puzzled Moody.

"Charles is missing again."

Hermione still didn't find Charles on the second weekend.

Seamus said while spreading jam on bread: "Charles went to the Forbidden Forest to deliver something to the centaurs."

Hermione remembered that he was still the director of the Centaur Liaison Office.

"Ah, Charles!"

Twilight was looking for pumpkins eaten by small animals in the pumpkin patch, and ran over immediately after seeing Charles.

"Hey, you've grown taller again!"

Now Twilight has grown into a big girl, and can easily lift Charles up high.

There are several centaur girls in the pumpkin patch, and they all came to greet Charles.

Rainbow smiled and said to Twilight: "Charles is here, that thing can be settled."

Twilight blushed and ran away immediately.

Charles asked Rainbow: "What's the matter?"

Rainbow laughed and said: "Twilight has something that needs the consent of his family, so he is waiting for you to come."

In the eyes of the centaurs, Charles is Twilight's brother who has lost two legs and a tail, and Twilight's family affairs are naturally his business.

Charles asked curiously, "What's the matter?"

Rainbow said mysteriously, "You should ask it yourself."

Charles scratched his head and came to the centaur tribe to find the elder first.

Ruby came earlier and stood on a tree stump. A group of children fed it the fruits they had just picked.

Charles handed the supplies he brought this time to the elder.

The elder asked Charles, "Do you know about Twilight?"

Charles shook his head and replied, "Twilight ran away without telling me, and Rainbow didn't tell me either."

The elder smiled and said, "Haha, it's not a big deal. There's just a boy who likes Twilight."

"Although it's a matter between children, it still depends on the family's approval in the end."

"When the tribe holds a ceremony at the next spring equinox, you need to agree."

When Charles heard about this, he smiled and said, "This is a good thing. I will definitely attend the ceremony then."

Twilight is old enough. Rainbow didn't say anything bad about her, and the elder didn't hint. This shows that the boy is reliable, which makes Charles very relieved.

Then the elder and Charles talked about some traditions, such as family members can use various questions to make things difficult for each other, and can also fight.

There was a regular banquet tonight, and before Charles could ask anything, Rainbow and several other young centaurs pushed a young man in front of him.

This young man had strong arms, well-developed chest muscles, eight distinct abdominal muscles, and shiny hair on his back.

He looked shy and nervous at this time, hesitating for a long time and couldn't speak. He handed a can of beer that he had just brought today to Charles, and then ran away.     Rainbow and the others laughed at once.

Charles had seen this young man before and had some impression of him.

He asked Ronan and others next to him, and everyone said that he was honest and hardworking.

After the banquet, Charles returned to Twilight's house and found that she had gone to bed early like the child on the day of the parent-teacher meeting.

At breakfast the next day, Charles finally appeared in the cafeteria.

Harry noticed that Charles was laughing from time to time, so he asked him, "What's the happy thing?"

Charles said with a smile, "I didn't expect she has a boyfriend."

Harry immediately turned his head to look at Hermione who was sitting on the other side, and the others were just half a step slower.

Everyone thought that the only girl who could make Charles smile like an old father was Hermione.

Lavender and Parvati were the most active, with gossiping fire in their eyes.

Hermione was picking up a piece of cake, and when she saw everyone looking at her, she couldn't help but stop.

"Why are you looking at me?" She looked left and right, "It's not me."

Everyone didn't believe it.

At this time, an owl came and landed in front of Charles, and he took the letter and left.

Charles was gone for a whole day and didn't return to the dormitory until the evening.

Seamus asked him curiously, "Where did you go?"

Charles threw himself on the bed and said, "It's about the company and the Ministry of Magic."

Seamus asked, "Is it a big business?!"

"Yes." Charles sighed, "A secret mission."

"Oh, I don't know how to tell Snape."

Seamus was originally curious about what the secret mission was, but when he heard that it was related to Snape, he couldn't help but ask in surprise: "It's related to Professor Snape, you don't do potion business?"

"What are you going to study?"

Charles replied: "Snape."

Seamus said: "I know you want to ask Professor Snape for help, I'm asking what to study?"

Charles still replied: "Snape."

This time Seamus came back to his senses and asked incredulously: "You mean, you want to study Professor Snape?"

Charles replied: "Yes."

Seamus was silent for a while, and asked cautiously: "Will it hurt him?"

"I don't know." Charles replied, "The worst case may cause him serious injury."

"Is that so!" Seamus asked again: "Is there a risk of healing?"

Charles replied: "No one has treated this kind of injury."

Charles frowned, not knowing how to tell Snape that his company and the Ministry of Magic want to study him.

After thinking about it, he also wanted to know who came up with the genius idea of studying to crack the Dark Mark on the hands of Death Eaters in order to locate other Death Eaters.

The Ministry of Magic took this very seriously, so they found Phoenix Logistics, which was good at breaking spells, and sent the Unspoken Man from the Department of Mysteries to cooperate.

Not only Charles was puzzled, but even the former Unspoken Man and former Death Eater in the company was puzzled.

To study the Dark Mark, you must first have research materials. The Ministry of Magic took out the list of Death Eaters. Except for those who escaped and were not found and those who were newly imprisoned in Azkaban, there was only this one from Hogwarts.

The next morning, the students of Hogwarts saw Snape chasing Charles and hacking him.
