I looked at it, and the mystery is almost two million words. This is probably the most unknowingly two-million-word book since I wrote a book, because there are still many things to write and many plots to unfold. It takes too much thought and hard thinking, just lay it layer by layer according to the well-made structure.
Of course, this does not mean that it is not difficult to write. I have been writing for more than 7 years. It is only in this book that I have truly summarized many vague ideas into my own experience. Unlike the past, when I was writing, it was like being stuffed into a cloth bag , in the dark, struggling hard, groping slowly, and always stuck in the same place, or like a novice driver who just started on the road, driving the car tremblingly, tense, sweating, and can only focus on the eyes.
Among the summed up self-experiences, there is one item that is "soft". Yes, this item only has these two words, but I don't know how many words and plots it was condensed into. It means the excess of the plot, the plot The development of the story, the burst of the plot can't be abrupt, even if you want the strange peak to stand out, you must have a certain inconspicuous foreshadowing in advance, so that people feel that it is unexpected and reasonable, and they will shout "Fuck, there is such a development", but It's not "I'll go, what the hell is developing".
Adhering to the word "gentle", when I read the previous few books, I will obviously feel that the handling of some plots is a bit blunt, and a small amount is even embarrassing, as if it must be developed in order to advance some plot.
Therefore, I am a typical player who writes more and more slowly. When hundreds of thousands of words are lost, I can go to work during the day and start work at 8 o'clock in the evening. I open Word and do it. I can finish 6,000 words around 12 o'clock. During the period when it was on the shelf, I could write 15,000 a day for the climax, but now, 6,000 a day would be difficult, and 9,000 would be fatal.
On the one hand, I really have to obey my old age, and I am no longer a young man in his twenties. On the other hand, my typing speed is not slow, but I spend a lot of time thinking about how to develop the plot softly, combined with the set structure and the rough draft. Outline, come up with multiple possibilities, then eliminate them one by one, find the softest and most comfortable one, and finally fix it. Every time the interval between two plots is the most painful, this is also the most awkward place.
The third part is the most difficult one I have written so far, because its style is different from the previous two. It is in a state of travel, and it will constantly say goodbye to familiar people and meet new people, which means It’s hard to set up a few good supporting roles so that the development of the plot is not monotonous and not empty. After a few episodes, you have to temporarily give up and build new supporting roles. This is really a very painful thing. Of course, it is also a pain for me. kind of challenge.
Also, I will gradually unfold the corresponding plots of the members of the Tarot Society in the future. This is another kind of challenge. I hope it will not overwhelm the guests and be very attractive.
After summing up, let me talk about the update plan for next February. As the Chinese New Year is approaching, there are many trivial matters. After writing for almost 10 months, I have accumulated a lot of fatigue physically and mentally. I plan to rest and adjust my state during the Chinese New Year. From February 2nd to February 12th, it will be a single update. At 12:30 noon, the normal update will resume on February 13th.
