Explanation of Quoted Text
After thinking about it, I decided to open a separate chapter to explain it.
The plot of Tanan in the previous chapter quoted a lot of text materials from the game, which made some book friends feel uncomfortable.
Here Hamster will give a brief explanation.
First, Hamster should take care of those book friends who don’t read the text carefully while playing games, or forget it after reading it, and those who have never played the game at all.
Not all book friends can memorize all the texts in the game, or in other words, most book friends can’t do it, and only a few hardcore fans can do it.
I can’t say that I’m going to write about Tanan soon and ask book friends to download the game and spend a few hours reading the text, right?
Besides, pure text is not right, I have to change some things and add some things, I can’t let the book friends fill in the blanks by themselves, right?
Second, Tanan is a character with a very complex and contradictory personality. His personality is determined by his past experiences. If his past experiences are not explained clearly, he can’t come alive in this book.
Third, Hamster could have designed a historical echo, letting Qi Ge follow Tanan, instead of directly quoting the game text, but Hamster didn't do it.
There are two reasons. First, it would be too dragged out, and it would take many times more words than quoting the game text.
Second, Hamster did it on purpose, wanting to show off.
Hamster wants everyone to know that even if the game text is directly quoted, many original plots designed by Hamster can still be linked to the game text.
For example, the bard who has never appeared in non-text game content, and the obscure background that the goblins rebelled against Bracada, etc.
I originally imagined that the hardcore game book friends would be very surprised to see this chapter, and would applaud my ideas, but I didn't expect to be criticized for the water word count, which really silenced Hamster.
Well, maybe from the reader's point of view, this is lazy, Hamster is reflecting on it.
However, the next chapter of Hamster will still quote some game texts, but will insert more original content related to the plot of this book. If you mind, you can skip the subscription and decide whether to come back to subscribe if you find something you don't understand later.
