I Have a Role in the Heavens

Chapter 3049: The Three Great Seals of Vairocana Tathagata, the Realm of All Views of Mahāsamaṇa-Samatha-Vipassana

Zen Master Lingyou suddenly turned around and looked at the disciple who had just worshipped under him, his eyes widened, and he looked incredulous.

In the void, a continuous flow of mental power poured into the young man's body, and a layer of soft Brahma light covered his body. The Buddhist true energy in his body instantly transformed into a higher level of power, vast and pure, with infinite light.

"Namo Amitabha!"

Zen Master Lingyou chanted the Buddha's name softly, and an invisible Buddha light lit up from the gray Buddhist beads in his hand, forming a thick light curtain, wrapping Ji Boyi who created countless strange phenomena in it.

"The Buddha's son has come, and my Zen sect is destined to flourish!"

Zen Master Lingyou was overjoyed, and the sound of chanting sutras rang out from the acupoints all over the old monk's body, as if communicating with an extremely mysterious pure land, wrapping up this hall tightly and isolating this world.

The young man knew nothing about this, and his mind entered a very quiet state. His body and mind were still, and an inexplicable breath slowly came in and out of his pores. There was no accumulation when he entered, and no dispersion when he left. It was as if his own thoughts were in contact with the supreme existence in the void, and merged into one. In a single thought, he pulled the magical powers of the Dharma Realm and reached the state where the Brahman and the self were one, and the five aggregates were empty.

"The Dharma is not inside or outside, in the middle, in the three worlds. It is born from false causes and has no substance and no master, and its appearance cannot be obtained. It is neither combined nor dispersed, like the void and illusion, and its nature is pure and unpolluted. Because it has nothing, the mind and its mental factors are false. The Dharma is not one, different, and has no nature. It is real emptiness. Because it is empty, it has no appearance. Because it has no appearance, it has no wish. Because it has no wish, it does not see the birth and death of the Dharma. Entering the gate of the Dharma of No Birth is the view of the Bodhisattva."

A sound of Sanskrit that seemed to come from the sky sounded in the young man's heart, and also awakened him from the state of meditation.

The boy subconsciously formed a mysterious seal with his hands, clenched his hands into diamond fists, with his left index finger straight up, and the little finger of his right hand wrapped around the first section of his left index finger, while the tip of his left index finger supported the first section of his right thumb. As soon as this seal was made, the profound meaning of Zen Buddhism, such as the unity of reason and reason, the unity of life and Buddha, and the unity of delusion and enlightenment, lit up in his heart, and an incomparable powerful force condensed from the void Dharma Realm with this seal.

At this time, circles of pure and clear Buddha light lit up behind the boy's head, reflecting his whole person's solemn appearance, as if the Buddha had come to the world, and a supreme artistic conception of "I am the only one" emanated, domineering and solemn, sacred and majestic.

"This is the Great Sun Dharma Realm Seal!"

Zen Master Lingyou exclaimed in surprise, rubbed his eyes in disbelief, and suspected that he had hallucinations.

In Buddhism, the left hand represents the five bodies of sentient beings, and the right hand represents the five wisdom and five Buddhas' crowns. Wearing the crowns in the shape of sentient beings is called the Great Wisdom Fist Seal in Buddhism, also known as the Bodhi Supreme Agreement, the Bodhi Guide First Wisdom Seal, the Seal that Can Destroy Ignorance and Darkness, and the Vajra Fist Seal.

However, in Zen Buddhism, it is generally called the Great Sun Dharma Realm Seal, which is one of the hand seals of the Great Sun Tathagata and the seal of the unique Dharmakaya. It can be said to be one of the most powerful hand seals in Buddhism.

Even Buddhist monks who have achieved the golden body of Arhat after several reincarnations may not be able to comprehend this strongest hand seal of the Void Dharma Realm.

"The Buddha appears!"

Zen Master Lingyou was extremely shocked and looked up at the golden body of Sakyamuni in the hall. At this time, he had regained his calmness and there was no infinite vision just now. He bowed his head and chanted a Buddhist name, clasped his hands together, and was extremely pious.

At this moment, the scene just now reappeared. The young man's hands kept moving, and he formed a big hand seal again. His mind entered the supreme realm again. After releasing his hands, he gently placed his left hand on his left knee, with his palm facing up. His right hand was like his left hand, overlapping it on top of his left hand, with the two thumbs touching each other. The original invincible and unique powerful force gradually dissipated and turned into a static force that sealed everything in the world.

The whole hall seemed to be isolated from this world in an instant. Master Lingyou only felt that the golden body magic power he cultivated was as heavy as a mountain in this barrier hand seal, and he could no longer mobilize it.

"Dharma Realm Seal!"

The old monk's meditation state for his whole life was destroyed by the young man in front of him. He could no longer remain calm. His lips trembled, and he said the name of this big hand seal in disbelief.

After the young man formed the Dharma Realm Seal, he still did not stop moving. His hands moved slowly again, as if he had drawn the truth of heaven and earth and infinite light.

"Could this be?!"

A blush appeared on the old monk's withered and skinny cheeks, and a bright light shot out from his old and turbid eyes, like two rounds of the sun, extremely dazzling and very scary. His cheeks were distorted, revealing hideousness and sorrow, and his heart was full of envy and jealousy. This hand seal was what he dreamed of understanding, and now it appeared on this disciple who had just worshipped Buddhism. How could he feel.

A force that transcended the mundane world and seemed to be able to reach the other side had already condensed and emerged. The young man's white and slender hands burst into crystal Buddha light, and dark cracks burst out in the surrounding void. Behind the cracks, there was a pure land on the other side with infinite light and eternal bliss. It seemed that as long as the young man released the power of this hand seal, he could reach the pure land of the Buddha Kingdom, the origin of all Buddhist teachings.

"It really is the Vajra Realm Freedom Seal!"

The full name of this seal is, the mudra of the assembly of the Great Sun Tathagata and Samaya in the Vajra Realm. It is bound outside the Vajra. The two middle fingers are raised and the upper joint is bent like a sword. The two index fingers are stretched out on the back of the two middle fingers. According to rumors, as long as you complete this mudra, no matter where you are, even in the netherworld, you can directly reach the pure land on the other side and meet the Great Sun Tathagata. It can be said to be one of the Buddhist mudra that hundreds of millions of Buddhists most hope to obtain. head!

"The Great Sun Dharma Realm Seal, the Dharma Realm Seal, and the Vajra Realm Free Seal, together are the three great mudra of the Great Sun Tathagata. If an ordinary person obtains one of them, he can become a Buddha and become an ancestor. Unexpectedly, today, you are entering meditation for the first time. The three major handprints are completely visible on the body of the young monk, it’s true!”

Zen Master Lingyou couldn't help himself. In the end, he didn't know what to say. He only felt sad in his heart. Even a lifetime of meditation state could not stop his sadness. Two lines of hot tears flowed from the corners of his eyes. His expression was sad and he had to raise his head. In this way, tears will not flow out. There is no other way. The old monk can only swallow his sadness alone without anyone to comfort him.

The young man directly dissipated the power of the Great Sun Tathagata's hand seal and did not choose to directly break the void and reach the other shore to meet the Great Sun Tathagata himself, otherwise the old monk would have wanted to die.

Zen Master Lingyou quickly wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes, calmed down his mood, and once again transformed into a virtuous and eminent monk who was unfazed by favors and humiliations. He had a solemn appearance, a solemn expression, and looked at the young man with calm and gentle eyes.

The young man slowly opened his eyes. His eyes were warm and delicate, clear and clear, like the eyes of a glass Buddha. A peaceful and gentle aura spread out. His expression was a bit lazy, and he looked at the old monk calmly. said.

"It turns out that Buddhism is so simple. If you just meditate on it, you can get the faxed Dharma. If I had known better, I wouldn't have asked Master for Dharma!"

As soon as these words came out, Zen Master Lingyou's skinny cheeks kept twitching, and extremely complex emotions surged into his heart. He felt a sense of grievance and discomfort. His finally calmed down mood surged again. Waves of energy and blood surged into his brain, and he spat out a stream of blood from his mouth. Xuejian fell down, fainted, and shouted a miserable and aggrieved word,

"Buddha is unfair!"

Ji Boyi looked at Zen Master Lingyou who was vomiting blood and fainted, curled the corner of his mouth slightly, and complained speechlessly.

"Master's psychological quality is too poor. He can't stand such a trivial matter. All these years of practicing Buddhism have gone to a dog's belly!"

Although Ji Boyi was unforgiving, he still jumped in front of Zen Master Lingyou, supported the old monk's arm, put him on the futon and sat down.

After Zen Master Lingyou woke up, his mood was extremely complicated. He really didn't want to face this disciple who had just taken his seat, so he drove him out of the hall directly. He wanted to calm down the complicated emotions and mood alone. If Ji Boyi continued to be with him As he swayed in front of him, he was afraid that he could not help but vomit blood again. The gap between people was really too big, even bigger than the gap between humans and dogs.

Ji Boyi slowly walked out of the main hall, his eyes were warm and crystal clear, with a clear brilliance and a solemn appearance, like a eminent monk. He looked back at the golden body of Sakyamuni in the main hall. The majestic and almost overflowing power of thought formed a circle of vast Buddha light, which enveloped the entire Miyin Temple, suppressing the earth's veins within a thousand miles and evading evil spirits.

The crystal Buddha light shone in Ji Boyi's eyes, and he looked motionlessly at the golden body that seemed to have the Buddha's mind power attached to it. There was always an impulse in his heart to swallow up all these mind powers, but it was a pity that these mind powers were the property of Miyin Temple. He doesn't move easily.

The Supreme Dharmakaya deduced by Ji Boyi has a method of absorbing the power of sentient beings' thoughts. After all, Buddhism is best at using mental power to practice. Otherwise, why do you think these bald donkey monks are keen on spreading Buddhism? Is it because they can gain the power of sentient beings' thoughts and practice Transform your faith, practice the Buddhist golden body and magical powers, achieve positive results, and ascend to the pure land world.

"Forget it, if I devour the power of all sentient beings in Miyin Temple, the old monk will definitely go crazy. The way he looked at me just now was filled with jealousy!"

Ji Boyi sighed, looking at the majestic telepathy but unable to move, he really couldn't feel happy. Of course, he was still in a better mood than Zen Master Lingyou.

Rumor has it that when Buddhist disciples enter samadhi for the first time, they will be sensed by the omniscient and omnipotent Buddha, and those with deep wisdom will be given magical powers, seals, etc. In the past, there were not many Buddhist disciples who obtained the three great mudra of the Great Sun Tathagata for the first time in meditation.

For example, the Sixth Patriarch Hui received a root seal inherited from Amitabha Buddha, through which he understood the meaning of the bondage of life and death, the inherent Buddha nature of all living beings; achieved the ten realms of equality among the five mortals and five saints, and understood the non-dual principle of mortal saints . It pushed Zen Buddhism to an unprecedented peak in the world.

But even so, the Sixth Patriarch Huineng only received one mudra, and was not able to receive the full set of Amitabha's mudra. How could it be that Ji Boyi, who had just entered Buddhism, was given the entire set of Mahadeva's mudra? Such an opportunity, the whole Zen Buddhism has been unheard of since Bodhidharma. No wonder Zen Master Lingyou feels unbalanced in his heart.

Zen Master Lingyou's lifelong practice was only a simplified version of the Dharma Boundary Seal, but his disciple reached the sky in one step and developed the strongest Buddhist magical power he had pursued throughout his life.

If ordinary people had encountered such a thing, they would have been jealous and even died of anger because of such differential treatment. A Buddhist monk like Lingyou Zen Master also sat for ten days to stabilize his Zen mind and calm his mood. He even broke and then established, and realized a deeper level of Buddhism, which can be regarded as a gain.

In the hall, Lingyou Zen Master sat on the cushion, with a solemn appearance, a kind look, and a kind look. He looked at the disciple opposite with gentle eyes and said softly.

"Disciple, do you know what I want you to do this time?"

Ji Boyi has a handsome face and excellent appearance. He sat on the cushion, looked up at the golden body of Sakyamuni, and a trace of greed and heat flashed in his eyes. He shook his head slightly and said calmly.

"Disciple does not know!"

Lingyou Zen Master nodded slightly, put his hands together, chanted a Buddhist name, and asked solemnly with a firm Zen mind and immovable as a mountain.

"Have you learned any secrets from the three great hand seals of the Great Sun Tathagata in the past few days?"

Ji Boyi understood what he said, his expression was calm, and he looked at Master Lingyou with strange eyes. After weighing it in his heart, he slowly said.

"My disciple has gained something!"

Master Lingyou's face froze when he heard this. He thought that even if Ji Boyi got the three great hand seals of the Great Sun Tathagata, it would be difficult for him to comprehend any Buddhist magical powers. He didn't expect that this disciple didn't follow the routine and actually got some understanding. This made the Zen mind that had just stabilized ripple again, and he was so scared that he quickly closed his eyes and chanted the Vajra Realm to calm himself.

After a long time, the chanting stopped, and Master Lingyou put his hands together, his eyes were calm, and he looked at the handsome boy and spoke again.

"Disciple, monks do not tell lies!"

"The Great Sun Tathagata is the fundamental Buddha who has personified the reality of the universe. He is also the fundamental virtue of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in their native and universal manifestations."

"The Great Sun Dharma Realm Seal is the seal of the unique Dharmakaya, which contains the Buddha's strongest magical power to subdue demons and can communicate with the Vajra Realm in the Void Dharma Realm. Every strike can almost cause the end of the world. If you use this seal in the human world, I am afraid that not only will your own magic power and soul be drained by the Void Dharma Realm, but even if you are lucky enough not to die, you will have to deal with the cause of death of hundreds of millions of sentient beings. Karma. I don't know how many reincarnations it will take to cleanse it!"

"Although the Dharma Realm Seal does not have such a terrifying killing power and can be used in the human world, it is not something you can control with your current cultivation."

"As for the last Vajra Realm Seal, you can ignore it. When you need it, you will naturally use it."

"How can you understand it like this?"

Master Lingyou stared at Ji Boyi with a serious look, as if he suspected that he was lying. With a heavy pressure in his eyes, he rushed to the handsome boy.

There was no fear of guilt on Ji Boyi's face. His expression was extremely calm, his eyes were as warm as jade, and there was a faint Buddha light. He made a seal with his hands, and a unique breath emanated from his body. An unparalleled power condensed from the void Dharma Realm and acted on Master Lingyou, causing his golden body magic power to fall into silence and unable to be used at all.

"Great Sun Dharma Seal!"

"How is this possible? You have just entered the door of practice. How can you perform this great hand seal? This is too unreasonable!"

Zen Master Lingyou felt a fishy sweetness rising up his throat. He quickly stabilized his Zen mind and chanted a Buddhist name aloud.

"Namo Amitabha!"

The sound of Zen, like a huge bell, resounded throughout the hall. The Buddha's light was bright, the treasure was solemn, and the skinny body looked extremely majestic at this time. A looming golden body of Arhat appeared behind Zen Master Lingyou. It was majestic and brave, exuding a powerful momentum, resisting the unique power of the Great Sun Dharma Seal.

"You actually understood the mystery of the Vairocana Tathagata's hand seals. You are indeed a natural genius, a child of Buddha!"

Zen Master Lingyou's eyes flashed with shock, and his brows knitted. This is unreasonable. He has not practiced yet, but he can comprehend something from the three major hand seals of Vairocana Tathagata. You know, even with his cultivation of Buddhism, he dare not say that he can comprehend the true meaning of Buddhism from it.

"The great Dharma of Buddhism emphasizes sudden enlightenment and gradual progress. Although the two are contradictory, they are relative. Although you, my disciple, have realized the three great hand seals of Vairocana Tathagata in the state of meditation, you still need to practice step by step to accumulate enough mana and mental power before you can have enough strength to display it."

"Maha Samadhi and Vipassana are the fundamental practice method of our lineage. It was inherited by Sakyamuni and Nagarjuna Bodhisattva. It is divided into three types of Samadhi and Vipassana: gradual, uncertain, and complete. When you practice to the end, you will establish the view of one thought and three thousand in the state of the perfect integration of the three truths, and explain the profound meaning of the complete Samadhi and Vipassana method. Disciple, you must practice well. After you have cultivated the realm of all views, you can formally practice the three great Dharma seals of Vairocana Tathagata, otherwise it will be harmful to you!"

Maha Samadhi and Vipassana have a total of ten chapters, namely the general idea, the explanation of the name, the essence, the collection of the law, the partial perfection, the convenience, the correct view, the result, the teaching, and the purpose, which are referred to as the ten broad.

The first chapter is the general outline of the book, and the following nine chapters are summarized into five sections: Arousing a great mind, practicing great deeds, feeling great results, breaking the great net, and returning to the great place. This is a brief summary of the whole book, which is called the Five Briefs. The two are collectively called the Five Briefs and Ten Broads.

However, for Ji Boyi, only the seventh chapter of Right Contemplation is the most important, because this chapter is the method of practicing meditation and insight, and it is also the center of the whole book.

This book contains a total of ten realms and ten views; the so-called ten realms are the realm of yin, the realm of troubles, the realm of illness, the realm of karma, the realm of demonic things, the realm of meditation, the realm of various views, the realm of conceit, the realm of the two vehicles, and the realm of Bodhisattva ! The ten contemplations include contemplating unimaginable situations, truly generating bodhicitta, being skillful and at ease, breaking the Dharma, clearing up obstructions in knowledge, adjusting the Tao, treating and opening, knowing the order, being able to endure, and being free from the love of Dharma!

The former is the state of one's own understanding of Buddhism, and the latter is the power of practice. Generally speaking, if a Buddhist disciple does not have a heaven-defying opportunity like sudden enlightenment from the beginning of his practice, it will take hundreds of years to reach the realm of all views.

However, Ji Boyi is not an ordinary person. He entered the state of meditation the first time he read this book. Now a few days have passed and he has already entered the state of all views.

"It is not the same thing. The wrong interpretation is called view. It means improper reasoning, clear prejudice, and making decisive interpretations. It is called view. These views may be caused by Zen or hearing. Those who are caused by Zen are called the beginning. Because the mind is calm, the perspective becomes clear and the insights are clear, like a wonderful enlightenment.”

Only when eminent Buddhist monks have attained the realm of views and passed away can they be qualified to go to the other side of the Pure Land and meet the Buddha and Bodhisattva.
