Warhammer: In the Name of the Emperor

Chapter 624: Battle of Beasts: Psychic Nuclear Explosion

Vito walked through the dark tunnel.

It didn't take him long to sneak into the underground of the orc factory.

As expected, the former furnace channel of the underground factory had no shield. It was used to transport the high-temperature liquid needed for casting furnaces and led directly to the interior of the factory.

The orcs naturally knew this and deployed some people to guard it.

But how ridiculous it was in front of the Grand Master of the Assassin Court and the First Assassin of the Empire. It didn't take Vito long to pass through and board the rail train operating on the lower level of the factory.

Vito hung on the train and passed through the upper suspended track. The orc war machines were arranged conveniently below.

Those ugly and huge chariots, colossi and other things were crowded together here. The orcs were not a race that liked neatness. Their factories were full of chaos.

The garbage on the production line was randomly discarded, and weapons and ammunition were piled up randomly. It only took a Mars to blow it up.

And this Mars is currently on the train above.

Before coming down, Vito told Cole to remember to turn off the Geller Stand Shield. I wonder if he did it. If he didn't, Vito's journey would be a little more troublesome.

He didn't want to be resurrected once, it would be very uncomfortable.

The train arrived at the terminal, and Vito jumped onto the platform on the side, quickly avoiding the eyes of the greenskins here and hiding behind the box.

He looked out, then turned and walked inside, quickly approached a greenskin who cut his throat with the dagger given by Helena, hid it, and then got behind the door of the battle platform.

Vito hid behind a large number of objects on the side of the corridor, including boxes full of weapons and armor plates that had just been completed. They were close together to form a tall iron wall.

And this just provided space for hiding.

Vito quickly passed through the shadows behind them, avoiding all the greenskins walking here, and the bright firelight of the foundry workshop shone on the edge of the shadow.

Suddenly a greenskin appeared between the bunkers, and he was looking at the workshop below.

Vito didn't stop. He quickly approached and cut the tendons of the greenskin with a knife, and then stabbed his head before he could make a wail.

The greenskin fell to the ground, and Vito got a key from him.

It was a greenskin-style, made of rough iron, extremely heavy, but it was necessary to move forward.

Vito touched it, opened the door at the end with the key, and slipped in. No greenskin noticed that he had been here, and no one noticed that two guards had died.

Behind the door was a spiral staircase, which was carved out of a vertical rock cave, and below was the generator of the void shield.

At the same time, it was also the foundation of the entire factory. The recruiter was very smart to install the void shield generator in such a deep place, so that any vibration caused by artillery bombardment and the landslide caused by it could not threaten it.

But that's it.

Vito slipped down the spiral staircase and quickly approached the generator. There were more handles here, and the greenskin guarding it was no longer an ordinary guy as before.

The greenskins here are taller, wearing sophisticated armor, and many have mechanical arms, laser eyes or iron legs.

Big guys, Vito recognized them, but that doesn't mean anything, they can't stop Vito.

Vito quickly emerged from the shadow of the stairs, and quickly dodged behind another pillar to avoid the greenskins' eyes. He released his psychic power, but the golden lightning did not appear.

Someone or something stopped him, and Vito knew what it was.

The greenskin shaman was not far away, and he released the strange power of the orcs to cut off the connection of psychic energy.

The wagggggghe energy of the orcs seemed to be different from the power of the warp, and they did not need the waves of the warp to exert their power.

Vito sighed.

"What a trouble."

He said, avoiding the patrolling big guy sideways, and then slipped out after he left.

Vito's footsteps were light, and he seemed to walk without any sound. He hid in the shadows between the buildings built by the greenskins around him, avoiding the big guys who were more alert around him and approaching the shaman.

They almost found Vito several times, which made people admire their quality, but it was not enough.

Vito came to the side of the shaman, and he pulled out Helena's short knife from behind. The silver short scimitar was flowing with venom.

The shaman suddenly seemed to realize something, he stood up suddenly, and a waaaaaagh energy hit Vito, forcing the latter to appear from the shadows.

"What the hell is this intruder!"

The shaman roared and released the power of the greenskins between his hands.

The big guys around also came over, and the burly beasts pressed up like a high wall.

Vito glanced at the short knife in his hand, and the venom overflowed from the blade, and there was a strong subspace power in it, which was as conspicuous as a radiation source.

"Helena"

Vito sighed, raised his sword to block the sword that was chopped down from the side, and then drew out the Phoenix Sword to chop off the big guy's head.

With another sword, a green-skinned bird's nest was pierced and fell to the ground. He blocked again, bounced off the roaring chain saw claws, and cut off the orc's arm.

Vito rushed through the big guys with two swords, one long and one short. He dodged and moved, avoiding the surroundings and opening all attacks like a non-existent ghost.

The Phoenix Sword stabbed out and shattered a knee, and then Helena's short knife cut the throat, and blood spilled on the ground and wet Vito's trouser legs.

He rushed towards the shaman, but all the green energy shot by the latter were dodged. He hurriedly raised his staff and chanted a spell loudly.

Vito came to him, cut off the staff with a sword, then cut off his fingers, and the scream interrupted the spell.

The phoenix saw the whirling thrust, and the shaman's heart was pierced.

Golden lightning suddenly exploded, and all the green skins rushing around were blown away.

Vito turned around, golden light lit up between his eyes, he suddenly raised the Phoenix Sword, and then thrust it into the ground.

Roaring lightning exploded from the ground, they shattered everything, all the surface was blown to pieces, the big guys turned into pieces, and a circular golden light under the blade spread out around them.

This move is the same as in Nurgle's Garden.

While that time it destroyed a corner of Father's Garden, this time it was the orc's factory.

The walls of the factory shattered, and the whole world shook violently. The void shield generator exploded the moment it was touched, mixing with the golden light and engulfing everything around it.

Vito looked at the destructive power coming toward him. His fingers gently held Helena's magic blade behind him. A portal opened and he jumped in.

"Welcome back."

Lilith was sitting on a chair in the Phantom Palace, and so was Helena, who was sitting on the table behind her mother, winking and smiling at Vito.

"How's it going? Is it still working, Dad?"

Helena asked.

"It's very useful, especially when you need to run away."

Vito held the magic blade and said that the portal behind him was closed. The explosion of the physical universe will not affect this place. This is the plane of the soul.

"Then keep it, so that you can think of me and come back for a meal occasionally."

Lilith pointed to the dining table behind her as she spoke. The succubus maids were serving dinner, which included Eldar soul crystals and food specially prepared for Vito. The kind that humans eat, I mean, real humans. The kind you eat.

And she was also wearing a revealing "evening dress"

Helena behind her did the same. She held her chin and licked it in her mouth as if to indicate it with her fingers.

"Dad, can you take me with you tonight? I want to have a late night snack."

"No."

Vito replied decisively.

"Why? You and mom never take me with you."

Helena muttered.

"I'm not moral enough to fuck my own daughter."

Vito replied.

"Then stay for dinner?"

Lilith said with a smile, her fingers resting on her cheeks.

"It's still a long night for both of us."

"I still have to work, but dinner looks good."

Lilith said with an evil look on her lips.

"Yes, and its entree."

Well, Cole and the others might just have to watch the explosion from orbit and wonder where Vito went for a while.
