Taiping Yaoshu has proved that there is a relationship of inheritance between Wujiao and Taoism.

Now it seems that it is not that simple, and the Emperor of Heaven should be divided into two stages.

The first stage is the stage of the ancient emperor of humanity. The major affairs of the country are sacrifice and war. Sacrifices are the responsibility of the ancient Wujiao, and military affairs are led by the emperor of humanity himself, with Yinglong, Yuyu, Hanba and others under his command. At this time, the inheritance of the Human Emperor was the Great Witch. Because the Great Witch was similar to the gods, there was a "Heavenly Emperor Dharma Image" that was passed down in the world.

The second stage was the Heavenly Emperor stage. It was at this time that the Supreme Taoist Ancestor turned into the immortal Guangcheng Patriarch. The Heavenly Emperor asked the Supreme Taoist Ancestor for advice, and the witch religion began to weaken, and Taoism rose from this.

The "Taishang Daozu Kaitian Jing" records: "In the time of the Heavenly Emperor, the Supreme Taoist Ancestor was a teacher, named Guangchengzi. He disappeared from yin and yang and wrote the Daorongjing Daojing."

The Taoist sect believed that the Supreme Taoist Ancestor had countless incarnations, and the Three Pure Ones were the three corpse incarnations of the Supreme Taoist Ancestor. In addition, the Supreme Taoist Ancestor would also cut out the incarnation of the heavenly immortal to enter the world to respond to the disaster. There were different incarnations and different images in different periods.

For example, in the Heavenly Emperor period, it was Guangcheng Patriarch, and in the Dazhou period, it was Li Dan, known as "Laojun". During the Guangcheng Patriarch period, the Heavenly Emperor asked the Supreme. During the Laojun period, the Confucian sage asked the Supreme.

Later, there are historical records that another incarnation accepted the ancestor Tianshi as a disciple, officially creating the concept of Taoism.

The cultivation method of the celestial being is very strange. Every time the celestial being incarnates into the world, as long as he can ascend twice, his cultivation will be greatly improved. In this way, the Supreme Taoist Ancestor has ascended twice more than once, and his realm has reached a level that mortals cannot guess, even beyond the scope of the three-tribulation immortal.

Under the guidance of the Supreme Taoist Ancestor, the Human Emperor abandoned the Great Witch inheritance and turned to the Taoist inheritance. He finally ascended successfully and changed from the Human Emperor to the Heavenly Emperor.

It was precisely because of the ascension of the Heavenly Emperor and Yinglong that the Great Witches took control of the power, which led to the subsequent internal fighting of the Witch Cult.

Wu Luo would naturally follow the example of the Emperor of Heaven to learn from the Taoism, improve herself, and begin to transform into the orthodox immortal inheritance. Wu Luo is the first witch who opened his eyes to see the Taoism, so except for Wu Xian and Wu Yang, only Wu Luo did not really die, but survived to this day.

This is like a butterfly, although it is not as strong as some wingless insects, it can leave the tree and explore the vast world, while those wingless insects can only sigh on the branches.

In summary, although the earthly immortals are strong in combat, they cannot "fly" and are destined to be trapped in the city of sorrow, so many earthly immortals will eventually choose to give up the "innate five elements" and become celestial immortals.

The word "acquired" in the acquired immortals is also reflected here.

In all Taoist terms, the acquired is inferior to the innate. Qi Xuansu is obviously stronger than Zhang Yuelu, but why is Zhang Yuelu innate? And Qi Xuansu is acquired? The reason is that Zhang Yuelu has a better prospect and no limit, which is the innate. The artificial exiled immortals stop at the immortal, without a second ascension, and cannot go further, which is the acquired.

The core of the acquired exiled immortal is the "heart of the longevity stone", which originated from the "longevity stone" and integrated the Taoist five immortals on the basis of the great witch inheritance.

In other words, Qi Xuansu has a deep relationship with the ancient witch cult, which is no secret. Every time he improves his cultivation, he has to go to Lingshan Dongtian and meet so many great witches.

The founder of Quanzhen Taoism also has a deep relationship with the ancient witch cult, and Shi Hengbo is a clear proof.

The first path is to build Lingshan Dongtian, which is similar to the concept of the kingdom of heaven on earth. Creating the most ideal fairyland in the world is equivalent to ascending. In essence, it already has the prototype of the later kingdom of God, and it has the characteristics of the heavenly immortals and earthly immortals opening up the cave heaven, which can indeed avoid the heavenly calamity.

The second path is to refine medicine, to make up for its own inherent deficiencies through external forces and objects, and break through the shackles. This is the origin of the first generation of "Eternal Life Stone". In fact, Yu Yu was a drug tester for the Great Wu of Lingshan, and died unjustly.

It must be admitted that many of the ideas of the ancient witch religion were extremely bold, and many Taoist techniques were developed on the basis of the ancient witch religion.

Back to Lingshan Dongtian, according to the records in the book, when the ancient witch religion was at its peak, there was also the saying of "ascension", but unlike the ascension of the Taoist sect in later generations, this ascension was artificial. Those who devoted everything to the witch religion had the opportunity to be selected by the ten great witches, and then after the ascension ceremony, they successfully ascended and became as tall as the ten great witches, as tall as giants, and possessed divine power.

At that time, the ten witches of Lingshan were honored as "ancestor witches", and those who ascended were honored as "great witches".

In fact, the ascension of the witch religion is not essentially leaving the world, but going to the Lingshan Dongtian, and the ascenders are not immortals, but more like pseudo-immortals.

In other words, as long as the ascension ceremony of the ancient witch religion is found, you can enter the Lingshan Dongtian through this pseudo-ascension method.
