Chapter 2 I’m Probably Interested in You

After packing her schoolbag, Cheng Anyue and Zhou Xiaomin left the classroom together.

As soon as she walked out of the classroom door, Cheng Anyue saw Song Chao waiting outside.

The 17-year-old boy looked very immature, but he had a kind of vigor that belonged to adolescence.

However, his face was a little cold, and he didn't look particularly easy to get along with, giving people a feeling of coldness and arrogance.

She nodded at him and said, "Thank you for your notes. I will return them to you as soon as possible."

"Well, you can ask me if you don't understand." Song Chao nodded and turned to walk towards the stairs.

Cheng Anyue was a little surprised. Was he really waiting for her?

Suddenly, her arm was poked. She turned her head and saw Zhou Xiaomin approaching, with the word "gossip" written on her face.

"Anyue, I think Song Chao treats you well." Zhou Xiaomin teased, "Do you know how hard it is to borrow his notebook? The last time the school beauty came to borrow it, she was rejected."

Cheng Anyue frowned, "What do you want to say?"

Zhou Xiaomin smiled maliciously, "What do you mean, don't you understand? I think Song Chao is probably interested in you."

Cheng Anyue looked at her strangely, "Are you kidding me? How old are we now?"

Zhou Xiaomin was a little speechless, looking at her as if she were an alien, "I say, Anyue, other elementary school students and junior high school students are in love, what are you afraid of as a high school student? Tell others what you just said, you will definitely be called old-fashioned and feudal."

Cheng Anyue chuckled, "Then just think of me as a feudal person."

She didn't want to fall in love too early, and besides, she didn't think Song Chao was interested in her.

The two went downstairs together and saw Song Chao again.

Cheng Anyue's eyebrows tightened slightly, why is he still here?

Song Chao glanced at her and continued to walk forward.

Zhou Xiaomin raised her eyebrows at Cheng Anyue. Look, you still dare to deny that he is not interested in you?

Cheng Anyue had a headache. What is going on?

She and Song Chao were not what Xiaomin thought. Song Chao actually lived very close to her family. They went to kindergarten and elementary school together. They were childhood friends.

However, Song Chao was not a talkative person. She played with him when she was a child. As she grew up, they became distant, but there was still some friendship.

He must know everything that happened in their family recently, so he should sympathize with her experience.

However, she did not intend to tell Xiaomin about this, otherwise, it would only make her gossip more about them.

There was no conversation along the way, and they soon arrived at the school gate.

Cheng Anyue saw and heard the black Maybach on the side of the road, and knew that the person who picked her up had come.

"Xiaomin, my pick-up person is here. See you tomorrow. Be careful on the road." Cheng Anyue said to Zhou Xiaomin, then looked at Song Chao and said, "Thank you for your notes. I will return them to you as soon as possible."

"Yeah!" Song Chao responded inaudibly and continued to walk forward.

Cheng Anyue waved at Zhou Xiaomin and walked towards the Maybach.

What she didn't notice was that when she passed by, Song Chao's eyes followed her and watched her walk to the car.

Cheng Anyue opened the back door and prepared to get in as usual. Suddenly, a figure rushed into her sight. She tightened her grip on the door and stood there without daring to move.

I don't know how long it took, but a cold voice came from the car, "Get in the car!"
