Chapter 627: The Magg Family's Education Method
On Sunday morning, Firth and Hermione walked through two feet of snow towards Hagrid's hut.
Harry and Ron wanted to go with them, but their "homework mountain" had increased to a terrifying height, so they reluctantly stayed in the common room, trying to ignore the cheers from downstairs.
Students were skating and sledding on the lake, and worse, they used magic to make snowballs fly up to Gryffindor Tower and hit the windows heavily.
"Have you had enough of the trouble?!" Ron opened the window and roared out of the window...
Then he was hit on the head by George and Fred, and could only retract his head in dissatisfaction.
On the other side, Firth and Hermione met Hagrid and Fang and entered the Forbidden Forest again. They followed the route of last night, walking deep and shallow in the Forbidden Forest.
Of course, it was only Hagrid and Fang who were actually walking. Firth and Hermione had already turned into cats and climbed on Hagrid's shoulders.
More than ten minutes later, they came to the open space where they had been last night. Grawp lay there obediently, with white snowflakes dotted on his fern-colored curls.
Not far from him, Fluffy, a three-headed dog, was lying there, with one head drooping and taking a nap, while the other two heads looked around boredly.
"Woof!" ×3
Realizing the arrival of Fish and the others, Fluffy's three heads all looked over here and barked happily.
Grawp, who was lying on the side, was frightened and sat up hurriedly, then looked over in the direction Fluffy was looking.
"Hagrid..." Grawp opened his mouth and shouted.
But he seemed to deliberately lower his voice, and it sounded a little aggrieved.
"Oh! He's calling me! Right? I've been teaching him on the way here!" Hagrid danced excitedly and ran towards Grawp, "I knew you were a smart kid!"
Fish and Hermione jumped off his shoulders and came to Fluffy's side with Fang.
Compared to the giants who had only met last night and didn't get along well with them, they still wanted to say hello to the more familiar Fluffy first.
Fluffy also took the initiative to bend down and put his big head in front of Fish and Hermione.
"Good morning, meow, Fluffy."
(ΦωΦ)
Fish smiled and stretched out his hand, patting Fluffy's wet big nose, Hermione did the same, and Fang Ya wagged his tail at Fluffy in a flattering way.
Then Cat poured out a lot of food from his magic pocket and shared it with Fluffy and Fang Ya.
Grawp in the distance sniffed and looked over here eagerly, but he didn't dare to come over because Fluffy was there.
After Fish patted Fluffy's head, he picked up a roasted leg of lamb and held it in front of Grawp.
"From now on, you will learn words from Fish, and I will give you food when you learn them, meow!"
(ΦωΦ)
Mao Mao raised the roasted lamb leg in one hand and the magic wand in the other, and said loudly to Grawp.
However, Grawp, who only cared about food but not about beatings, ignored Fish and reached out to grab the roasted lamb leg in his hand...
It was mainly because of the consistent concept of giants that Grawp always ignored Fish's strength because of his size.
"Retreat the enemy three feet! Meow!"
(`Д)つ━☆*.
Fish quickly threw out a repelling spell, knocking Grawp to the ground.
"Do you want to be beaten by Fish again, meow?!" Mao Mao waved the roasted lamb leg in his hand and questioned.
After Grawp got up, he finally remembered how he was beaten by Fish last night, and then he quickly recovered his obedient posture, kneeling on the ground, shaking his big head.
Fish nodded in satisfaction, and then waved his wand again.
Grawp subconsciously protected his head with his arms, but found that the light from the small wooden stick did not attack him this time, but condensed into a strange golden pattern in the air.
"This letter is A," the cat pointed to the huge letter A in the air and said, "Follow Fish and say A."
Grawp looked at the strange pattern in front of him with his dull and turbid eyes for a while, and then he opened his mouth and said, "Ah."
"No, it's A meow! A!" Fish corrected.
"Ah..."
"It's A! A meow!"
"Ah meow."
"No meow! It's A!"
After Fish corrected him several times, he was so angry with Grawp that he rushed up and kicked his sampan-like feet.
"Why are you so stupid, meow!"
(`Д)
He kicked and cursed, "Fish was...eh?"
The cat recalled his experience of learning to speak, which didn't seem to be much better, but Professor McGonagall never got angry because he was slow to learn, but continued to teach patiently.
Of course, it was another story when he was naughty.
"Hmm..." Fish stopped, straightened his expression, and said to Grawp like Professor McGonagall, "Look at Fish's mouth shape...A, eh-A."
"Ah..."
I don't know if the tongue structure of giants is different from that of humans, or if their brains are really that stupid. Anyway, after Fish taught for nearly 20 minutes, Grawp finally said a relatively standard "A".
However, during these 20 minutes, Fish, who had always had little patience for reading and writing, did not get angry once, and Hermione, who was watching, almost thought that the cat was under the Imperius Curse.
After rewarding Grawp with a roasted leg of lamb, Fish continued to teach him, but Grawp was really difficult to teach. The cat spent a whole morning and only taught him six and a half letters...
Until the centaurs came to invite Fish to have lunch with them, Grawp could not say "G" very well, but a pronunciation similar to "qu".
During this period, Hagrid and Hermione actually wanted to help, but they were rejected by Fish, so Hermione could only pull Hagrid aside to remind him not to make magical animals like the blasting-tailed skrewt in class next week, and emphasized that Umbridge would definitely target him.
But Hagrid didn't listen at all. He kept telling Hermione that no one with a normal mind would be willing to study the thorn and give up the Chimera.
"You're going to make us learn Chimaera?!"
Hermione's face turned pale with fear. Chimaera is a magical animal of the same XXXXX level as dragons, basilisks and acromantula. According to Newt's book, it is even more ferocious than dragons and is on par with acromantula, and even stronger than acromantula.
Fortunately, Hagrid shook his head with regret and said, "Chimaera eggs are classified as Class A non-trading commodities by the Ministry of Magic. They are not found on the market at all, and are also hard to find on the black market."
"Can't you learn from Professor Grupp's teaching method?" Hermione said this for the nth time with a look of despair.
And Hagrid was still the same as at the beginning, looking indifferent.
At the end, Hermione had completely given up. She felt that Hagrid and Grawp were worthy of being brothers. They were really equally difficult to teach... No, it should be that Hagrid was more difficult to teach than his brother!
At least there was some progress with Fish, wasn't there?
