Chapter 505 Conflict
Kyle and Connor stayed in the hut for the whole morning.
At noon, Hagrid invited them to have lunch together.
"Steak stew." He said, "You can't imagine how delicious it is."
Connor was a little curious at first, thinking it was some new dish and wanted to try it... until she saw Hagrid throw an unknown big claw into the pot.
Then she made a quick decision... to go back to the castle.
The same was true for Kyle, because in Hagrid's so-called steak stew, there was only a small piece of steak the size of a palm, and the rest was a mess.
The stew was fine, but the steak was just a part of the meal.
After making the decision, the two quickly got up and left the hut regardless of Hagrid's retention.
And they were extremely glad that they made this decision.
Probably to celebrate the birth of the warrior, today's lunch has brand new dishes that have never appeared before, French classic red wine braised beef, puff pastry onion soup, and a kind of crispy roll that I can't name... I think it should be the specialty food of Durmstrang, and it tastes pretty good.
"Fortunately we are back." Connor served herself a bowl of onion soup, "I can't believe what it would taste like if steak and those big claws were stewed together."
"It's really hard to imagine." Kyle said with a smile.
In addition to aesthetics, they and Hagrid also have huge differences in the definition of deliciousness.
However, there are also disadvantages in returning to the castle, that is, Kyle has to face those enthusiastic classmates, but to be honest, they are really a little too enthusiastic.
Just eating a meal, Kyle has a pile of thick books next to him.
These are all borrowed from the library, saying that they may be helpful for the Triwizard Tournament, but Kyle flipped through them casually and found that he had read more than half of them.
And in the next few days, this situation happened every day, and Kyle had to set aside some time to refuse these good intentions... Oh, and autographs.
Kyle never thought that someone in Hogwarts would ask him for his autograph, just like they did with Krum.
This was the first time Kyle knew how famous the Triwizard Champion was. You know, when he became the youngest member of the Merlin Knights, no one asked him for his autograph.
In addition, students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would also attend classes with everyone during normal times.
But they were almost all sixth and seventh graders, not even a fifth grader.
Krum was probably the most popular among them. Whether he was in class or appeared in the castle for other things, he was always surrounded by a large group of people.
Among these people, Malfoy appeared the most. After two months of silence, he finally returned to his previous arrogant appearance last week.
And he started to make trouble for Harry and Ron again... especially Ron.
Whether it was during class or occasionally met in the castle, Malfoy would make some sneers at Ron. This was also the first time he enjoyed the treatment Harry had once received.
Ron was so angry that he wanted to fight with Malfoy several times, but he held back after being persuaded by others.
This situation lasted for a week until Wednesday noon, when Ron went to the hall for lunch and happened to hear Malfoy slandering him in front of Krum.
"That red-haired guy has a problem with his brain." Malfoy deliberately said loudly, "He likes to curry favor with all famous people, first Potter... the fool with a scar on his head.
Maybe he thinks that if he gets close to Potter, he can move out of that... let's just say a house. The funny thing is that he hasn't been able to do so until now.
Viktor, you must be careful, don't get entangled with him, that follower..."
"Malfoy!"
Ron pushed the crowd away angrily and walked over, "Don't you dare say it again."
"Oh, who did I think it was." Malfoy raised his head and said sarcastically, "Aren't you going to curry favor with Scarhead Potter? Maybe he can change you into a more decent set of clothes."
"Get out of here, Malfoy." Harry said, and he and Hermione grabbed Ron's robes tightly to prevent him from rushing towards Malfoy.
"Don't be angry, Ron."
"He just wants you to make the first move, so that Professor Snape has a reason to punish you." Hermione persuaded bitterly.
"I don't care..." Ron twisted his body angrily, "I must tear his mouth apart today!"
"It's scary." Malfoy continued to sneer, "And your father, that old Weasley, his shabby look is really embarrassing for the Ministry of Magic..."
Ron struggled harder.
"Ha, yes, your family is dressed decently."
At this time, Fred and George squeezed into the crowd from the other side. They were not as excited as Ron, but looked very happy.
"George, do you remember the photo in the Daily Prophet that day?"
"Of course, Fred, Mr. Malfoy, who was well-dressed, was very impressive." George said with a smile.
Then he cleared his throat, gesticulated with his hands and feet, and imitated the content of the newspaper:
"I don't know... Mr. Minister, they threatened me to do this, I am innocent..."
This was Malfoy's defense when he was on trial, and it was published in the newspaper along with the photo.
As for Fred, he wiped his tears with an exaggerated gesture beside him... He was imitating Narcissa Malfoy in the photo.
The two sang in unison, as if they were performing a stage play, perfectly reproducing the content of the photo, making many people laugh.
"How dare you!" Malfoy's pale face turned slightly red, and he pulled out his wand and pointed it at them, "I will make you pay the price!"
"Okay, come on!" Fred said calmly, and also pulled out his wand, "If you have the guts, do it, and then say you are innocent like old Malfoy, isn't this what your family is best at?"
Malfoy looked into Fred's eyes, his chest heaving violently, and the next second, the two took action almost at the same time
"Incisors are like sticks!"
"Armor to protect yourself!"
A beam of light flew quickly towards Fred, but bounced back at a faster speed.
Malfoy flew backwards, and it could be clearly seen that his incisors were growing at an alarming rate, extending beyond his lips to his chin.
"What is going on here?" A soft voice said.
Snape came. He looked at Malfoy, who was lying on the ground like a groundhog, and was about to speak...
"Professor, you're here just in time. Come and take a look... I was really scared just now." Fred took the lead and said in a long tone, "I was practicing the Shield Charm just now, and Malfoy suddenly fell down. What happened?"
"Practicing the Shield Charm?" Snape narrowed his eyes.
"Yes." George said, "We like this spell very much, so we practice it often."
"That's right!" Another voice came.
Accompanied by a series of thumps, Professor Moody stepped on his wooden leg and walked over. The blue magic eye stared at Snape, and then looked at Malfoy who had just climbed up from the ground.
"It seems that he was hit by his own spell." Professor Moody said in a rough voice: "It's really interesting... Using evil spells on your classmates in public, Snape, how do you usually deal with this kind of thing?"
Malfoy seemed to be frightened and dared not say a word.
Snape's face became very ugly.
"Ten points for Slytherin, detention for Malfoy." He said coldly, and grabbed Malfoy's robes and dragged him away without saying anything.
"Oh!"
"Praise the professor!"
Fred and George clapped their hands, as if celebrating their victory.
