Chapter 25 Dumbledore's Visit
A loud whistle sounded suddenly in the empty room.
The black leather box was slowly pushed open a gap, and a magical creature with a green body carefully poked its head out and looked out with brown eyes the size of rice grains.
Groot saw the jailer dozing off on a rocking chair, so he quietly got out and stood on a wall cabinet on the first floor.
It quickly found Rolf's wand, trotted over happily, picked up the stick with great effort, and dragged it towards the box.
An invisible beast followed closely behind and got out of the box. It sniffed the smell in the air and walked towards the corner.
There was an iron bucket filled with insects.
The invisible beast swallowed, put its claws in, grabbed a few squirming bugs, raised them high to its mouth, pinched them with both claws, and the crunchy bugs burst out into the mouth.
The invisible beast looked satisfied and intoxicated, then grabbed a handful of bugs and stuffed them into its mouth.
A Niffler also crawled out. It wanted to look for Luo Fu based on the whistle, but suddenly stopped.
The shiny object attracted it...it was a galleon.
Xiu Xiu quickly jumped over and wanted to pick up the Galleons, but the legs of the table pressed it to the ground, so Xiu Xiu had to lift the table with all his strength.
Monet's feet were on the table. He felt the vibration. He opened his eyes suddenly and found Xiu Xiu very close to Chi Chi. He was so frightened that his body fell back. He and the chair fell backwards together, and fell heavily to the ground.
This movement frightened the Bowtruckle, who hurriedly dragged his wand into the box and hid inside.
The invisible beast picked up the bucket containing the bugs and ran towards the passage. When passing the table, Xiu Xiu jumped into its arms, and they disappeared into the air together.
Monet stood up again angrily, but he could no longer see Xiu Xiu. He was about to chase after him, but suddenly found that the bucket containing the bugs had completely disappeared!
Damn little thief!
…
…
After providing "hospice care" to the prisoner, Rove returned to the cave.
Karin worried: "With two prisoners dead, will the prison cause trouble for us?"
"No." Rolf comforted: "They are already death row prisoners, and they attack us. The German Ministry of Magic will not cause trouble for us because of this kind of thing, so don't worry."
At this time, a faint light shone in the distance, and Luofu turned his head and saw the invisible beast Uduka.
Xiu Xiu sat on its shoulder, playing with a Galleung in his hand.
In the arms of the invisible beast, there was an iron bucket. Luo Fu was speechless. Why did he bring all the bugs?
But when he took the iron bucket, he was stunned. The bucket was originally full of bugs, but now there were only a few bugs left.
While the invisible beast was burping, it pointed at the Xiu Xiu on its back and began to whine, as if to imply that it was the one that ate it.
Luo Fu rolled his eyes at the invisible beast and said angrily: "You still dare to lie, I will teach you a lesson later."
The invisible beast stared with big eyes, as if it had been greatly wronged, but it couldn't stop belching, which made Karin couldn't help laughing when she saw this scene.
Luofu picked up the broken lantern on the ground, restored it to its original state, and took out two worms and stuffed them into the lampshade.
He also restored the hole to its original shape, but after closing it, the symbol of the Deathly Hallows carved by Grindelwald disappeared.
Karin didn't ask Rolf what he was doing in the cave. Everyone had their own secrets, and she wouldn't pry around if the other person didn't tell them.
Rolf gave the head to the invisible beast, making it invisible again, and the group returned along the stairs.
Monet was rummaging through the cabinets, looking for any firefly lamps, when he saw a boy and a girl walking into the room.
"Return your firefly lantern." Luof handed the lantern to Monet and said, "We have finished checking the prisoners and need to leave."
Monet took the lantern, hesitated for a moment, and asked, "Did you see a Niffler when you came?"
"Sniff?" Rolf narrowed his eyes, looked at Karin and said, "Did you see it?"
The girl also shook her head in confusion.
"I didn't see it." Luofu pretended to be confused, "Are there any magical creatures here?"
"No... forget it." Monet sighed, planning to go down and check it out later.
"Since there's nothing else, let's leave first." Luo Fu walked to the wall cabinet, picked up his suitcase, and said:
"By the way, there is something I must tell you...the prisoner I visited and the prisoner next door to him attempted to escape from prison.
But as soon as they walked out of the cell door, they were dragged into the pit by the manticore. "
"If you have time, you can go and take a look. You may still find the bones."
"..."
…
…
After successfully getting what Dumbledore told him, Rolf and Karin returned to the street under the lime tree.
He pushed open the door of the wand shop and was surprised to see a familiar figure.
"Professor Dumbledore!" Rolf looked at the old man, unable to hide his inner joy, and said:
"I thought it would be a while before you could come to Germany."
Dumbledore was chatting with Grigovitch. After hearing the sound, he turned his head and said:
"Such a big thing happened to the floating dragon ship. I received the notice from the International Federation of Wizards and came over immediately.
Thanks to you, a disaster was averted. "
Dumbledore stood up and said, "Minister Carlisle told me that you live here, so I came to find you."
The old man looked at the girl behind Luofu again, smiled and said:
"This must be Miss Grigovitch. Thank you for taking care of Rolf during this time."
"It's not that I take care of him, but he helped me a lot."
Karin grinned and looked at the legendary wizard who defeated Grindelwald with curiosity. She looked at the table again.
There stood a crimson bird with a golden tail as long as a peacock's tail, very beautiful.
This must be the phoenix named Fawkes that Rolf mentioned.
After a few people chatted for a while, Dumbledore stated his purpose and wanted to take Rolf away.
Karin hurried to her room and asked them to wait here for a while.
Dumbledore whispered, "Rolf, where are the things I asked you to bring? Did you take them?"
"I took them." Rolf patted his box and briefly recounted what happened in Exeter Prison.
"It's okay." Dumbledore didn't care about the two death row prisoners. He whispered, "I'll tell Claire."
Karin trotted over and handed a box to the boy, panting:
"Rolf, this is the wand I made myself... for you."
Rolf took the wand and waved it down. A red light appeared. The wand head was like a firework, and the dancing spots of light were cast on the walls.
"Karin, thank you for your gift. I like it very much." Rolf also took out the gift he had prepared long ago from the box and handed it to the girl.
It was a feather pen made of phoenix tail feathers.
Fawkes looked at Rolf with resentment. This kid plucked so many of his tail feathers and gave them away as gifts... What a beast!
Rolf turned and left. Karin waved goodbye reluctantly and watched him leave.
After leaving the wand shop, Rolf asked, "Professor, where are we going?"
Dumbledore said concisely:
"Nurmengarde."
